did some wet wading last weekend. I own this wonderful pack for two years and haven’t found any disadvantages. It comes very handy when need to carry two plastic bottles of beer :D

If you haven’t tried flyfishing for chub during summer, you can’t call yourself real flyfisherman. You must be prepared for anything: reeds twice higher than you are, deep channels and moss with sludgy water that you must wade through, millions of mosquitos, bever ditshes where you leg can stuck or even be broken. In addition to all this, chubs have become very whimsical so they pick what to eat very precisely. Usualy they don’t like it and turn over leaving huge waves uder your fly. This is when your hands starts to shake… Amazing. It’s tough, but it’s possible. And there are several rules you must obey.
First rule. Eat champions food. Fresh milk, smoked fish and sweet sweet beer.
Second rule. Study local bugs.
Third rule. Be prapared for reeds, mud, water and more reeds.
Only if you use these simple rules in your everyday, you might be lucky to catch anything.

It was long time since we have posted any fishing report. But now it’s time to show you several weeks of fishing in Dzukija and Aukstaitija (follow these links to search more about these parts o f Lithuania). This trip was very enjoyable and started in the river Ula in DNP (Dzukija national park). Never refuse to use streamers. Sometimes it’s way better than any other flies.
By the way. You might think it’s simple zonker patterns, but it’s not. There is a little trick in it that helps to reduce losing streamers several times. But I won’t reveal this secret now.
Then I visited one secret small stream. Fishing there is one of the best ways to reorganize all your thouts and feelings. Some kind of meditation.
